Kerry Bisley was born in Motueka New Zealand and decided at a very young age to become a chef. His work history includes time spent in the Royal New Zealand Navy, Corporate chef for a large law firm, working for an Italian cruise ship company and owning his own cafe.
Kerry currently holds the position of Executive Chef at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton where his duties include the daily coordination of the kitchen staff, stock control, menu writing and the logistics that go into creating some of the magic at various events held in their many function rooms.
Kerry's advice to future chefs would be "to work hard and play hard, it's a lifestyle not a job". When Kerry is not busy in the kitchen his interests include rugby, car racing, fishing and playing golf. |
