Salamanders

Blue Seal and Waldorf gas salamanders use infra-red burners offering significant advantages over traditional blue flame burners. Infra-red burners are more efficient as more of the heat produced by the burners is directed on to the cooking surfaces. As a result, a significantly lower amount of gas is used. Infra-red burners also heat up faster.

Electric models feature powerful twin coil elements for optimum cooking performance.

Blue Seal and Waldorf salamanders offers a new lever action rack system model enabling height and tilt control without having to remove the rack from the salamander. A branding plate complete with a specially constructed collection tray can be specified with either the gas or electric salamanders. This provides an alternative to a range mounted grill plate.

All salamanders are easy to clean. Removal of the base tray allows easy access to the interior which can simply be wiped clean.
